Hive Invitational Tournament

2026-27 Central Alberta Sting "Hive Invitational"

The Central Alberta AA Ringette club is excited to host their second ever "Hive Invitational" tournament on November 20-22 in Red Deer, Alberta at the Kinsmen Community Arenas and Collicut Center.

This tournament will consist of some of the best u14AA, u16AA, and u19AA from Alberta and Canada.

2026-27 Tournament Schedule

2026/27 Tournament Details:

u14, u16 and u19 - 8 teams for each division (2 pools of 4) - Each team is guaranteed 5 games. Teams qualifying for championship playoffs out of the quarter finals will be guaranteed 6 games.

Ties are possible in the round robin. 5 minute overtime and then a shootout(3 shooters) in the playoffs.

Fee: $1500 for u14, u16 and u19

u14 and Open teams will play two 20-23 minute periods.

u16 and u19 will play four 11 minute quarters.

Update on Application form will be open August 1, 2026 - Please fill out this form(Application to attend - closed for 2025/26) as an application to 2025-26 Central Alberta Sting "Hive Invitational" Tournament.

Submitting this form does NOT mean acceptance into the tournament.

Team who have submitted an application to attend by July 25th will get first priority and will be notified by August 15th. Out of province applicants will be notified prior if needed for flight securement, however not earlier than August 2nd.

A $250 deposit is due with registration. The deposit will be refunded if a team is not selected. Full payment is due 3 days after confirmation of acceptance. If selected the $250 deposit will be applied to the registration fee.

Tournament fee $1500 for u14, u16 and $1100 for u19 and Open A

Teams need to be prepared to play by 8AM on Friday, November 21st.
