2025-26 Evaluation Information

Central Alberta AA Sting Ringette Club 2025-26 Evaluation Information - August 17th update

Dear Ringette Families,

I am writing on behalf of our Evaluation Coordinator, Hailee, to provide an update on the upcoming evaluation schedule.

Evaluation Update
With the association unable to ice a U19AA team this season, we have made slight adjustments to the evaluation times and dates. Please see the revised schedule below:

Monday

• U14: 5:45-7:00 PM — Game 1 Evaluation

• U16: 7:15-8:30 PM — Game 1 Evaluation

Tuesday

• U14: 6:00-7:15 PM — UAA Skills

• U16: 7:30-8:45 PM — Game 2 Evaluation

Wednesday

• U14: 5:45-7:00 PM — Game 2 Evaluation

• U16: Players/families will be notified by email if they are participating in the third exhibition game.

Thursday

• U16: Exhibition Game vs. Sherwood Park (Game 3 Evaluation) — 6:30 PM in Sherwood Park

Additional Notes

• Please arrive at evaluations 1 hour early check in.

• Girls will be asked for their preferred position so they can play it for the second  scrimmage.

• Final team rosters will be released by Friday, August 29 at the latest.

• Sherwood Park has traditionally concluded their evaluations with an exhibition game against St. Albert. However, as St. Albert does not have a U16AA team this season, Sherwood Park has invited us to participate in this game. We have agreed, as it will also assist us in completing our U16 evaluations. For this exhibition game, the highest-evaluated and lowest evaluated players from Games 1 and 2 may not participate. The primary purpose of this game is to provide the best possible assessment of players with mid-range evaluation scores to assist in determining final roster selections.
